Ida Plummer is the Executive Assitant to the Senior Pastor. Ida is semi-retired after working 20 years with the executive team as Governance Manager and Human Resources Director respectively for the largest public health association in the United States. Ida is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in non-profit board management, office administration, and human resource management.
Ida is responsible for carrying out, coordinating and overseeing all administrative duties and projects for the Senior Pastor. Ida is an integral part of the St. John pastoral staff using her organizational and interpersonal skills, tireless energym and positive attitude in working in collaboration with team member in meeting the needs of church memebers and the community.
Over the years, Ida has served in leadership positions with the Maryland State and Anne Arundel County NAACP and with the Officer Wives Club at RAF Chicksands, England. Ida enjoys family time with her children and grandchildren, is an avid walker and has an assortment of hobbies.
